Submit Your Application
Found a puppy you love? Submit a quick adoption application so our team and the breeder or rescue can learn about your household, lifestyle, and experience with dogs. We ask about your living situation, yard access, work schedule, and any other pets or children in the home.
Applications are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. Our concierge team may follow up with a brief phone or video call to answer your questions and confirm a great fit.
Step 3
Concierge Matching
Once approved, your dedicated Pups of Hope concierge will connect you directly with the breeder, rescue, or foster. You will receive a personalized introduction that includes additional photos, video updates, and a chance to ask questions about the puppy’s personality, feeding schedule, and health history.
If the puppy you applied for has already been matched, your concierge will recommend similar puppies from our network or place you on the priority waiting list for upcoming litters.
Step 4
Secure Payment
When you and the breeder or rescue agree on a match, it is time to reserve your puppy. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards, and you can also choose Klarna Pay in 4 to split your payment into four interest-free installments.

Health Check and Preparation
Before your puppy travels, they receive a comprehensive veterinary examination. This includes up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, and a health certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian. You will receive all documentation digitally before your puppy leaves the breeder or rescue.
Your concierge will also send a puppy preparation checklist covering supplies, crate setup, nutrition recommendations, and first-week tips so your home is ready on arrival day.
Step 6
Safe Delivery to Your Door
We offer two delivery options so your puppy arrives safely no matter where you are in the country. Choose the method that works best for your timeline and location.
Ground Transport
Your puppy travels in a climate-controlled vehicle with a certified pet transport driver. Ideal for distances up to 500 miles. Real-time GPS tracking keeps you updated every step of the way. Typical transit: 1 to 3 days.
Air Travel
For long-distance adoptions, your puppy flies with a USDA-approved airline-compliant crate and a dedicated flight nanny when available. Arrivals at your nearest major airport, usually same day or next day. Includes all airline health documentation and a comfort kit.
Step 7
Welcome Home
The day your puppy arrives is just the beginning. Your concierge remains available for 30 days after delivery to help with settling-in questions, training referrals, and veterinary recommendations in your area. You also gain lifetime access to the Pups of Hope community for ongoing support and resources.

How long does the entire process take?
From application to delivery, most adoptions are completed within 7 to 21 days depending on your location and the delivery method you choose. Your concierge will provide a personalized timeline after your application is approved.
Is the reservation deposit refundable?
The reservation deposit is non-refundable once confirmed. However, if a health issue is discovered during the pre-travel veterinary exam that was not previously disclosed, you will receive a full refund including the deposit.
Can I meet the puppy before committing?
Absolutely. Your concierge can arrange a live video call with the breeder or foster so you can see the puppy in real time, ask questions, and observe their temperament before placing your reservation.
How do you verify breeders and rescues?
Every breeder, rescue, shelter, and foster on our platform goes through a multi-step verification process including identity confirmation, facility documentation, veterinary references, and a review of breeding practices. Only approved partners can list puppies on Pups of Hope.
What if something goes wrong after delivery?
Your 30-day concierge support window covers any post-delivery concerns. If a health issue arises within that window, our team will coordinate with the breeder or rescue and local veterinary resources to ensure your puppy gets the care they need.
